Dfab teamed with Dom’s marketing team and designer, Rockwell Group, to create a new grocerant experience for Chicago shoppers. A new take on the neighborhood market, this new concept delights customers with a unique shopping and dining option.
The small format store features a centrally located kitchen that emits theater and food aromas. The signage and wayfinding have a modern retro vibe that reinforces the brand personality, born from the Mariano’s legacy brand. Dfab developed curved internally lit signage and 4 way beverage menu feature as just a few of the unique aspects of the branded interior environment.
